Throughout 2023, re•generation conducted a survey that garnered over 1,000 responses from undergraduate business students across Canada to see if business education is preparing them to take action on the sustainability-related challenges of today.

The majority of business students reported an absence of sustainability content throughout all mandatory courses despite an expected 20% of new roles requiring sustainability experience in major economic sectors over the next decade. The current business curriculum will lead to a significant workforce skills gap.
